Summary: Given how bad the data reception is inside the building it is quite a drag that you have to pay for Wifi. The breakfast is nice but is also 8 USD which is on the pricey side for a breakfast in Cuba. The outside is a fairly sketchy part of Havana without any street lights and lots of trash. So can be unsafe to go out at night alone. Also located 20 min walk from center and 30 min walk from bus station, so a bit far from everything. No soap was provided in the room, and the locks on the doors can really be a pain in the ass to open (I spent at least 5 min jackling with my room door the first night). Staff is nice and helpful with trips and taxi for the airport (and speak good English) however, and the hostel is very pretty.
