We have a 1,200-square ft. open concept floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Gulf of Mexico with a beach theme interior, sea glass tiles throughout, and full-size kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. We are directly across from the famous Stewart Beach, down the street from Pleasure Pier, and within minutes from the historic downtown Strand district with restaurants, shops, and nightlife. You can catch the trolley across from the Emerald for a fun day of sightseeing. If you are going on a cruise we are 2.1 miles from the cruise ports. This the perfect place to relax before and after cruising.
The Bolivar ferry is approximately 5 minutes away and a free fun trip to see dolphins and visit Crystal beach.
UTMB hospital is conveniently 5-7 minutes.
Enter in the Emerald on the 1st. floor to the beautiful lobby and elevators. Head to your concierge on 6 and begin your wonderful beach home getaway.
We call our giant balcony "Pelican's Porch" and George the pelican will be there to greet you. Enjoy sitting on the balcony in the early mornings with coffee, mimosas or bloody Marys and evenings having a cocktail or glass of wine overlooking the beautiful pool and Gulf while watching the pelicans as they travel back to Pelican Island.
***Our condo is ADA-friendly for manual wheelchairs (scooters ok in kitchen and living only). The master bath has two sinks with one having open roll-in area under if you open cabinet doors. The shower is barrier-free with access to easily walk or roll-in. Perfect for anyone not wanting to step over high curbs. Keeping with the beach and ocean theme we have grab bars shaped like ocean waves and a shower seat if needed. We added grab bars for any guest needing an assist in both bathrooms.
The Master bedroom has a king-size bed, 45" flat-screen TV, and access to balcony. You will love waking up to gorgeous ocean views and watching the shrimp boats.
***2nd Guest room has a queen size bed with another flat screen TV and is next to the guest bath.
3rd Guest features not a twin bunk, but a full size. There is a flat screenTV with a DVD. Sleeps 4.
