"Yerrunga" is a stunning country property in Kangaroo Valley, nestled in the foothills of Berry Mountain. The property is set on 8 acres, with plenty of greenery, flora and breathtaking scenery to explore, all just 5 minutes from the heart of Kangaroo Village .
This stately, yet cosy home retains the charm of it's history , it was formerly a school in the early 1900s. The home offers a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area with views of the valley along with 5 charming air conditioned bedrooms for a homely, country experience for up to 10 adults. In the heart of the home is the former classroom which is now a cosy living room with an original open fire place and is perfect for enjoying cable TV, reading or board games which are on offer. Alternatively , you can unwind with friends and family over a good conversation,...... truly, " old school " !
Outside, along with the breathtaking scenery you'll find an inground pool with a cold water spa , a spacious vine lined patio, with a sitting and dining area and - our favorite spot - the open fire pit where you can enjoy music, wine and quality time, as well as memories that will last a lifetime as you relax and enjoy sweeping views of Kangaroo Valley and escarpments as the sun sets and stars come out . Weather permitting of course.
