Within the historic core of the Municipality of Cassina Valsassina (LC), stands "La Corte della Casera", a three-storey period building dating back to the end of the 19th century, finely restored preserving the original materials and the typical characteristics of mountain houses valsassinesi. It is located in an optimal position for both summer and winter stays of our guests: from here you can easily reach the plans of Bobbio, the plans of Artavaggio and the wonderful lake of Como. In the winter months, about 250 m on foot from the hotel, there is a convenient stop for taking advantage of the free shuttle bus service to the Piani di Bobbio slopes. The building extends around a lovely central courtyard, formerly a place of conviviality for families dedicated to sheep farming and the processing of cheeses, left to mature in the still existing old dairy that stands next to the courtyard. The Verbena apartment can be accessed directly from the courtyard, available for our guests to relax. The accommodation comprises two floors. On the ground floor is the double bedroom with hypoallergenic mattresses, beech wood slatted frames and memory foam pillows for a better quality of sleep and the bathroom with tub and shower and window. The first floor houses the kitchen, fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle and fridge, and the living area, with sofa bed for two people, 32" smart TV, table and chairs for meals, sideboard and wood-burning fireplace ( use on request).The environment has been finely restored and has a ceiling with wooden beams and an elegant original stone wall.WiFi is guaranteed throughout the building, ideal for smartworkers.
