Within the historic core of the Municipality of Cassina Valsassina (LC), stands "La Corte della Casera", a three-storey period building dating back to the end of the 19th century, finely restored preserving the original materials and the typical characteristics of mountain houses valsassinesi. It is located in an optimal position for both summer and winter stays of our guests: from here you can easily reach the plans of Bobbio, the plans of Artavaggio and the wonderful lake of Como. In the winter months, about 250 m on foot from the hotel, there is a convenient stop for taking advantage of the free shuttle bus service to the Piani di Bobbio slopes. The building extends around a lovely central courtyard, formerly a place of conviviality for families dedicated to sheep farming and the processing of cheeses, left to mature in the still existing old dairy that stands next to the courtyard. The Calendula apartment is on the second floor and has a large private loggia equipped for our guests' outdoor meals, with a mountain view. The living room consists of a double sofa bed, 32" smart TV, table and chairs, sideboard with wood-burning fireplace (use on request). Like the living area, the kitchen is also small but complete and equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle and fridge, overlooks the loggia.There are two bedrooms, one double and one with two single beds, and overlook the back of the courtyard.They have hypoallergenic mattresses, beech wood slatted frames and memory foam pillows for a better quality of sleep.The bathroom with window has a shower.The heating is autonomous and WiFi is guaranteed throughout the structure, ideal for smartworkers.The Calendula apartment accommodates up to 6 people and is ideal for summer stays and winter holidays for families and groups of friends.
