From this private waterfront holiday house, soak up the spectacular surrounds of Pittwater, nestled in the National Park.. To find this unique location you can take a water taxi from Church Point Ferry Wharf to the Wave House jetty (5 minute trip) or alternatively take the local ferry to Eastern Wharf Scotland Island and take a short 3 minute walk to the house along the water edge.. You are surrounded by the sparkling blue waters of Broken Bay and the lush dark green silhouette of the Ku-ring-gai National Park. This is a beautiful, unique and magical place where life revolves around the water and bush and, although only 50 minutes from the heart of Sydney - it feels a million miles from everything. The Wave House is on the eastern side of Scotland Island and it sits perched above the waters edge, nestled among the spotted gum trees and with a view that can mesmerise you for hours. It has its own private jetty for relaxing down by the water and for swimming and accessing all the water activities you could wish for. The house design is a unique module design based on 5 levels made from Glass and Metal, with a ‘wave design’ roof structure that blends the image of a wave, from which the house takes its name. Architecturally designed thirty years ago, it is still present in architectural text books today. The property would happily accommodate 4 couples in the main house. This is the perfect side of the island to try your hand at sailing or a myriad of watersports on offer, or explore the private beaches, coves, waterfalls and walking tracks of the magnificent Pittwater.. Designed for easy living with a variety of living and entertaining spaces . The house is comfortable and roomy, opening out onto an expansive deck overlooking the Bay and waterfront views. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a electric top stove, microwave, and appliances. This Scotland Island holiday house offers all the ingredients for a relaxing and adventurous getaway Property Sleeps: 8 guests . Four double bedrooms, two with a double bed and two with twin beds.. This house has been loved by one family for 30 years and is kept in great condition. Therefore we ask no parties, no girls or guys weekends. Water access only. Access is via a shared jetty. Bring your own boat or use the regular ferry/water taxi service to bring you across from Church Point. Experience the freedom of a car-free environment.. Back to nature. Enjoy numerous bushwalks. Swim or kayak around the bays. Spot wallabys, parakeets, king parrots and other birdlife. Fish from the jetty for bream, snapper, crabs, etc Nearby activities: sailing, kayaking, swimming, waterfront restaurants, cafes, pubs (Newport Arms) and art galleries, golf (Palm Beach and Bayview), horse riding (Terry Hills - Samurai Park), northern surf beaches (Palm Beach is 5 or so mins by boat) In-house features: - Property sleeps 8 - Kitchen plates and crockery, saucepans, glasses, cups etc - 4 bedrooms (2 double beds, 4 single beds) - large front deck for entertaining - In-house entertainment includes, DVD Player and tv screen, and - BBQ charcoal beads kettledrum Weber.
