Romantic Retreat is located on the waters edge and canoes are provided. Horseback riding is just minutes away at River Man Trail Rides. If Horseback riding isn't your thing they offer family wagon trips. Crystal rock collecting is popular at the resort as well. Canoeing for the adventurous just bring your life jacket. Fishing, swimming, horseshoes, volleyball, playground and other amenities await you on the ranch. Check in is at 3:00 pm and check out is at 11:00 am. Summary: The cabin was very very clean! Wonderful. only two things, 1) didn't realize is was so far back off the main road. It did say 3 miles, but seems longer as the roads are terrible! Gate wouldn't work one night, had to walk around and push button. working the next day. My main issue was there is no shower. Yes you can use the spray on the tub, but tub is quite slick and I almost fell. All in all, the view was awesome, fire pit, great, deck great. the Canoes were there but you cant put in the water by the cabin. and then, if you do, how do you get back to the Cabin? never figured it out but it was kinda cold and rainy all weeknd. Thanks so much.
