The Space:
This is one incredible property to make your home base while in the Scottsdale area! From the 1+ acre lot with mountain views, to the private pool and hot tub (both completely resurfaced in August 2022) to the super comfortable house, you can't find a better spot to stay. Enjoy the "Sunset Room" to see some of the most beautiful sunsets around or enjoy a night of gaming in the game room with a full sized pool table, dart board and Pacman machine. Golf and top notch mountain biking are within minutes of the house, and best of all, we do allow your dog to accompany you. Per City of Scottsdale short term rental regulations we cannot sleep more than 6 adults and any of their dependent children. With that said we can sleep 10 max. This is NOT a party house! We do not allow bachelor/bachelorette parties, weddings/rehearsal dinners or any other events in our home. Our STR license with the city of Scottsdale is 2024737. As of June 2024, the house will be for sale. We are only opening the calendar 60 days prior to present day. Please do not book if you aren't comfortable allowing the house to be shown with 24 hours notice. We would never okay a showing without your permission but we are actively trying to sell and will offer money back or something like that if a showing request is made that you can allow.
We purchased this property in December of 2020 and have spent the last few months renovating it and getting it ready for rental. Its such a great space we wish that we could spend all of our time down here! We are property managers in Crested Butte, Colorado and while we operate our business there we do have folks on the ground in Scottsdale to help you. We've tried to craft this house to offer the most comfort and enjoyment for any sized group that comes in. Its a pretty special place that we truly hope you will enjoy. With all that said, this is NOT a party house!! This is a house for friends and family to create incredible memories, great laughs and to just enjoy life. Our intent is not to create a "party house". If that is what you are looking for, you will find many other houses that cater to that.
Upon walking into the home you will find yourself in the living room with a comfortable sectional couch and large smart tv. The office is right next to this space and has a full sized pullout sofa for 1-2 people and a desk for those that need to work. You have 2 French doors to shut this space. Also nearby is the powder bath for this floor and the stairs to the 2nd level. Walk through the living room to the dining room that seats 8 people at the table. You can then enter the kitchen which has been newly renovated with a quartzite countertop and new cabinet doors. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of your cooking needs from pots and pans, small appliances, platters, plates, utensils, you name it its there. There is also a breakfast table that can sit 6-8 with an extra leaf available to add if needed.
From the kitchen you can enjoy chatting with your crew in the very comfortable family room with oversized sectional couch and large flatscreen tv. While you can see a fireplace in the photos it is unusable as we have permanently capped the chimney and will be adding an electric fireplace in fall of 2022 along with new surround tile. You can also exit to the patio from here and enjoy eating at the patio table that seats 6, head to the private pool and hot tub that is separately fenced for safety or just hang out on the numerous patio and lounge chairs. There is also a large grill just outside the patio door.
Also on this floor you will find the junior master suite with a king bed, walk in closet, flatscreen tv, and full bath with tub shower/combo. Exit this room and continue to the laundry room with a full sized washer/dryer and utility sink. Exit from here into the spacious 2 car garage (its technically 3 but we do leave a car in the garage on the far side) which also has an extra fridge and another full sized washer/dryer.
The 2nd floor has the other 4 bedrooms. The master suite is massive with a king bed and flatscreen television. As part of the suite we have what we call the "Sunset Room" which is another office with a door and a full sized sofa bed. There is a set of French doors from here that go out to the master balcony that has the best sunset views in the area. The master bathroom has a claw footed bathtub, full travertine shower, marble topped vanity with 2 sinks and a separate room with the toilet. You will also find a walk in closet for your belongings. The entire master suite has a set of French doors to close off the whole space and individual doors to close off the Sunset Room, the bedroom and the bathroom. Walk down the hallway and take a right to the other 3 guest bedrooms. You will find one bedroom with a king bed and flatscreen tv, a queen bedroom and a twin bedroom with 2 twin beds. All have closets for your use. These 3 rooms share one full bathroom with double sinked vanity with granite countertop and a tub/shower combo. Exit this area and head to the game room which is a loft space above the living room where we have a full-sized pool table, dart board, putting game and a Pacman machine.
The front entry of the house has additional shaded patio seating to hang out. Play Pickleball on the driveway (its portable). The yard has fruit trees to harvest grapefruit, key limes and oranges when in season as well as lots of native plants and our personal favorite the "Funky Saguaro".
While the house can sleep many configurations of people, we find its probably most comfortable for 2 families. We allow 1 well-behaved dog to come with you. In certain circumstances we do allow 2 pets so please reach out to us if you want to bring 2. If you aren't bringing a pet please let us know and we'd be happy to refund that pet fee back to you.
The house is right next to Whisper Rock golf course and about 2 miles to Legend Trail. You can also hop on your mountain bike and ride about a mile and a half and hop on the trail network in the Sonoran Preserve which could have you riding for days. Trails are well marked and fun riding. Those same trails are great for a day hike or head over to Pinnacle Peak or Black Mountain to get a bit of a climb in and see the panorama of the area.
The town of Cave Creek is just 5 miles away and is a cute western town with great restaurants and fun shopping. Grocery stores, spas and everything you really need is all within a few minutes of the house. Doordash is a great amenity to get takeout and have it delivered so you can enjoy hanging out at the house. Old Town Scottsdale, world class shopping, museums, major league baseball training, TopGolf, Casino's and nightlife are all within a 30 minute drive. Barlett Lake with water skiing and pontoon boats is 20 miles away. There are so many things to do in our area but we can assure you that after your days adventures you will enjoy coming back to our home where you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset, quiet solitude and resort style living in the most sought after area of Scottsdale.
The pool can be heated with 24 hours notice (it does take that long to heat it) at $100/day. Unfortunately we do not allow burning of any kind on or in the property.

Renters 30 years and older are welcome. As noted above you are welcome to bring 1 dog with you. Often we can allow a 2nd dog with a request by you and an additional pet fee. Please let us know upon booking if you are bringing a pet. Renters less than 30 years of age are welcome with their parent or guardian. Unfortunately no cats are allowed.
Please note that our company does have a separate rental policy that will be emailed to you immediately after booking and this will need to be signed by you. If you wish to see it prior to booking, just send us anemail.

The Neighborhood:
Very quiet North Scottsdale location. Next to Whisper Rock and a few blocks to The Boulders. Mountain bike right out the front door.
Getting Around:
You will likely want a car. Uber's easy to catch to/from the airport.
