Summary: This was our second time staying at Casa Farol. We spent three weeks here, the last two weeks in February and the first week in March.The house is very comfortable and spacious.We shared the house with our daughter and teenage granddaughter for one of the weeks.The house is situated in a small village on the southwest part of the island. The house has great views of the Farol lighthouse at Ponta do Pargo and cliff oceon views.The location suited us because it was quiet but accessible to many locations on the island.There is some building construction going on in the village but did not cause any concerns for us.The house is approximately one hours drive from Funchal. Within a short drive is a grocery store, several restaurants and a pharmacy.Orlando was very responsive and an excellent host.
