Local shops, restaurants, nightlife, St. George Lighthouse Museum and playground, fishing pier and State Park are all a short distance away by car, and the happening arts, culinary and shopping scene in historic and charming Apalachicola is a half-hour drive from Tranquility.
The exterior of this amazing vacation home features a sparkling pool (heated for a fee) surrounded by spa style loungers, fish cleaning station with water, an enclosed outdoor shower (hot/cold), under house concrete parking and a park-style grill. The property is surrounded by natural Florida foliage and is just a walk across the street to the beautiful Gulf beach!
Access to Tranquility's interiors is by either the enclosed foyer stairs or the elevator available for guest use.
As you enter the first floor, you will find a centrally located laundry room with full size washed/dryer. Down the hall there is the North master king bedroom featuring pool views, a flat screen TV (cable) and access to the shared deck.
The SE king master bedroom boasts a flat screen TV (Cable), a seating area and direct access to the South facing deck with its beautiful views to the Gulf and swaying palm trees.
The SW king master bedroom features a flat screen TV (Cable), additional seating in the room and direct access to the South facing covered deck.
The second floor features high ceilings, walls of windows and the open living/dining/kitchen area. The sea blue and sand colors in the living room decor reflect the colors of the Gulf. The living area features plentiful seating including a sleeper sofa (queen), a large screen TV (Cable/DVD) and tile floors for easy cleanup.
The living room offers easy access to the North facing covered porch which features wicker rocking chairs and an outdoor table perfect for al fresco dining.
Entering through the dining room doors you are greeted by a large rustic table that comfortably seats 8-10. There is additional seating for 4 at the breakfast bar that looks into the well-equipped kitchen.
The kitchen boasts granite counters and backsplash, a dishwasher, an open feel that allows the cook to be part of all the goings on in the living areas and views to the Gulf and beyond.
Down the hall there is a large North king bedroom that is wheelchair accessible due to the extra wide doors and extra space in the room. This bedroom also features a flat screen TV (Cable/DVD), large windows with views to the pool and swaying treetops as well as access to the shared bath on this floor.
This floor also enjoys the North facing covered porch with its treetop views.
The third floor features two additional master bedrooms. To the right of the stairs is the North double twin (twin/twin) master bedroom. This room features high vaulted ceilings, large windows, a flat screen TV (Cable) and additional seating.
The South master king bedroom is a luxurious haven: it boasts a large bedroom with sliding doors that lead you to its South facing private balcony offering endless views to the Gulf waters, large flat screen TV (Cable/DVD), a wet bar, and a large private sitting area with windows looking directly onto the Gulf.
