Nestled in a quiet mountainside neighborhood, our large home is the perfect getaway for the ENTIRE family. At Highwood Hideaway, you will enjoy the serenity of nature all year round. We are smack dab in the middle of all that Summit County has to offer- conveniently located within a 15-30 minute drive from seven world-renowned ski resorts, incredible hiking trails for all skill levels, road biking and MTB galore, and SO much more!
We are pleased to supply our guests with a variety of essentials to elevate the comfort and value of our home. The property comes stocked with a generous supply of paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, hand soap, air freshener, daily shower cleaner, designated make up towels), kitchen products (a variety of cleaning supplies, sponges, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags), and complimentary locally roasted coffee.
Our sparkling clean property is beautifully furnished and well stocked to provide all of the comforts that you desire in a home away from home.
In the Winter - Our property is conveniently located within a 15-30 minute drive from seven world-renowned ski resorts including Copper, Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, Vail and Beaver Creek Resorts. With easy access to the interstate, our home is the perfect hub for spending a day on the slopes of your choosing. If you prefer the leave the car close to home on a powder day, the Summit Stage free bus service to Copper Mountain and Breckenridge Resort picks up about 1 mile away!
Additional winter activities include snow tubing, ice skating, ice fishing, dog sledding, snowmobiling and more- all within 5-25 minutes of the property.
In the Summer/Fall - Within 5-30 minutes of our home, you can access incredible hiking trails for all skill levels from family-friendly strolls to legendary 14ers. The recreational bike path allows you to explore Summit County on two wheels with paved paths around Lake Dillon, to Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, and more. Take a short drive or bike ride to the Frisco Marina on Lake Dillon where you can spend a day lounging on the lakeshore or rent paddle boards and a pontoon boat to get out on the water. Meadow Creek Park, located only 2 blocks away, has a playground and small pond.
Summit County truly is Colorado's playground. World renowned fly fishing, sailing, kayaking, boating, hiking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobile, golfing and shopping. Free summer concerts, festivals and weekly events.. The activities are endless all year round!

After a day on the slopes or trails, retreat to your own little slice of mountainside peace and tranquility. The living area is bright, spacious and comfortable with plenty of seating for the whole family. Cozy up on the large sectional sofa and enjoy views of nature through the panoramic windows. There is a bonus den area on the main level if the group wants to spread out to relax, watch TV, and play video games.
The chefs kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need to cook meals for the entire family. The kitchen features an oversized subzero refrigerator, gas cooktop and double oven. We even have two coffee makers so that no one is left out in the morning :) Home-cooked meals can be enjoyed together in the spacious dining area that comfortably seats ten.
There are four bedrooms plus a loft throughout the house.

Our heated garage is stocked with lots of fun toys including a ping pong table and bicycles are various sizes. Don't forget to bring your own helmets! There is plenty of storage space for all of your winter and summer gear in the garage. In addition, there is a ton of outdoor furniture to enjoy in the backyard of the property.
There is plenty of parking for up to 5 vehicles. 2 garage parking space and 3 spaces in the driveway.
Extra perks include garage parking, two sets full size washer and dryer, ping pong table, a variety of board games, outdoor games and BBQ grill.
PETS: Up to two well-behaved adult dogs (sorry- no puppies!) are allowed with pre-approval. There is a $50 per night per pet fee. Please be sure to indicate to the host if you plan on bringing your pup.
