This beautiful home is located less than 75 feet from the shore on Narraguagus Bay where one can sit and watch lobster boats, seals, eagles, and take in all of the beauty of life on the ocean.
When you are not enjoying the view and relaxing on the patio, you can enjoy a short drive (45 mins) to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Rogue Bluff, or local hiking. You will never be bored on your vacation!.
While visiting Milbridge you can dine at local restaurants (44 Degrees and the Milbridge House), take a sea tour with a local lobster fisherman, or have lobsters on the deck provided from the biggest and best lobsterman in the area!
The house is set up with a kitchen, entertainment room, large patio, master bedroom (king bed), and a loft with 2 twin beds. In addition, the house is equipped with all the cooking needs so that you don't have to eat out every night while enjoying the view at the end of the day!
The location is extremely private and off the road with a large area so that children have plenty of room to safely play without the concerns of traffic. Located on the property while on a walk to the shore, you will be able to pick Maine Wild Blueberries during the months of July and August.
You will not find a better location in Milbridge or Downeast Maine. Most people will tell you that this is a one-of-a-kind location!
We have an additional house on the property (3 bedrooms) for extra family and friends. 2nd house is available for rent if you are looking for more room.
This is a non-smoking rental. $500 dollar penalty for smoking.

Summary: The view is beautiful. The cottage is a nice size. We enjoyed watching the lobster boats. Sunrises were amazing. We never received check-in information so we had to contact the owner. We did get a quick response and he was helpful with questions.However, as others have mentioned, there was activity in the lot 10 feet from the house 24/7. It gave an uneasy feeling. Trucks were peeling out. The lobster boats began going out at 2-3am. Conversations were loud. The lights were bright shining right in making it impossible to sleep. We had our dog with us, and there was nowhere for him to do his business. No grass and poor drainage so puddles were very large and the ground was saturated. We had to take him to the campground/park down the road twice a day. The cottage is in need of maintainance. Tiles were off the wall, light switches broken, the vacuum didn’t work and there was no hot water in the kitchen to do dishes. They are simple things to fix and would allow for a better experience.The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. And an overall cleaning was needed. I am a huge dog lover but coming in to a couch covered in dog hair is a turn off. We ended up leaving early.
