Desiderata is Latin for "desired things" and is a stunning home set on 10 acres and has breathtaking 360 degree views of the valley with mountainous landscapes surrounded by farmland.
Go for a walk up Walkers Lane; relax in the hammock or cocoons on the large sun drenched veranda; sit in front of the volcanic rock chimney fireplace with a glass of wine; entertain in the indoor/outdoor living room; cook up a storm in the gourmet kitchen; read a book in the mezzanine library or just watch a movie in the entertainment are plenty of options.
The house has a large open plan feel with private areas available.
The Master bedroom has bi-fold doors that open up on its' own private balcony with outstanding views - see photo's. It also has its own en-suite bathroom.
The other 3 bedrooms have queen size beds and have views as well
Every room has reverse cycle air conditioning, fans and electric blankets and the bedrooms have their own TV with 2 of the guest bedrooms having their own DVD player and also NETFLIX enabled, if sanctuary is needed or agreeing on which movie to watch is difficult
The TV room is soundproof and set for comfort and enjoyment with a 75 inch large flat screen SMART TV and blu-ray DVD player - and NETFLIX enabled. We have over 800 DVD's and we provide children's movies as well
Living areas has feature bi-fold doors at the entertainment areas which completely open to the outdoors. The large glass doors at back of house allows for amazing views. The living room also has reverse cycle air conditioning and fans. It has a 8 metre high stacked volcanic rock fireplace and stunning vaulted ceiling
Dinning areas - there are 2 main dinning areas. The dinning room with contains a 8 seater timber dinning table (we can provide an additional 2 chairs if required on request) and the outside BBQ area containing a 8 seater timber dinning table. The bi-fold doors open up to connect the dinning room with the BBQ area.
We have a mezzanine floor which is used as a study and library or sanctuary for meditation/reading/quiet time. We have a large collection of books available to suite different tastes.
The house is primarily aimed at couples/families wishing to have a relaxing break. The house has a beautiful warm feel and has been designed to cater for every need or desire
The gourmet kitchen is a chefs delight including sunbeam café series espresso machine
We provide free broadband internet wireless via NBN wireless, free NETFLIX also free basic food essentials - olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper, ground Italian coffee & sugar
There are two portable cots, two hi-chairs & a bassinette available upon request

>There are full time Caretakers on the 10 acre property to assist with any issues during your stay. You will have complete privacy. You may see them out and about tending the farm animals, paddocks & gardens; however they will not come near the house unless you request assistance.
>The driveway is shared with the caretakers.
>Weddings, receptions, functions are NOT PERMITTED
>Bridal and/or Groom parties are NOT PERMITTED
>ALL weekends (not attached to school holidays) are a minimum of 2 nights (Fri & Sat or Sat & Sun)
>All LONG WEEKEND bookings are minimum of 3 nights (Fri, Sat & Sun)
>SCHOOL HOLIDAY bookings vary
>all other bookings are a minimum of 2 nights, except for Christmas and Easter which is a minimum of 4 nights
