The space
This cabin is ideal for a romantic getaway for couples or groups of two. Take in the solitude and sip a cup of joe on the expansive front deck as you take in the beauty of Mother Nature's sights and sounds. Downtown Blue Ridge is about a 15-minute drive. Downtown McCaysville is about a 15-minute drive. This brand-new cozy 570 sq. ft. cabin has an open floor plan, with a queen bed, a smart TV, with internet and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies. We provide extra blankets as needed in the armoire.
OUTDOOR LIVING: Covered front porch with large rocking chairs and a propane gas pit. We also provide a new gas grill for cooking! INDOOR LIVING: 1 Smart Roku TV that you can turn to face the living room or turn to watch TV in bed! Dining table area and two living room chairs and a small couch. KITCHEN: Fully equipped new stove, microwave, coffee maker, granite countertops, cooking basics, Crock-Pot, dishware & flatware, wine glasses and wine opener (no dishwasher). GENERAL: Washer & dryer, laundry detergent, towels/linens, free Wi-Fi, hair dryer, Minisplit heating & air conditioning, ceiling fans. PARKING: Driveway – 1 car preferred. Two cars can fit if needed. STAIRS: 3 Stairs to get on the front porch. The walkway from the parking is gravel and slightly sloped. PETS: Currently we do not allow pets. SMOKING: No smoking/vaping/e-cigarettes/open flames inside the house. TRASH: There is a trashcan on the back porch where you actually enter the house. Make sure to leave trash in can with lid secure to prevent Bears from coming up for the trash. Housekeeping will take away at checkout.
Guest access: Expect paved roads until just before you reach the cabin. Gravel road for about 1/4th of a mile. There are no street lights in this mountain community.
Other things to note: Our guest house is decorated with a lot of things we have gathered on our travels. Please be respectful and if anything breaks, let us know. We understand things happen.
We work hard to have everything you need to cook comfortably while on vacation. The kitchen is stocked really well as it is also a friends and family house!
We do have nearby neighbors, sound travels, so let's be mindful and considerate.
