Positive: Chedigny is a very pretty little rural village, perfectly placed to explore the eastern end of the Loire Valley. Our gite was charming and very well equipped for everything needed for self-catering. Rooms were spacious and the property was spotlessly clean. Communication with our host was good even though we never met her. The gite is very close to a wonderful restaurant if you stay when it is open. The property is quiet and private. We highly recommend the property if you like to stay in a lovely, small rural village.
Negative: It was difficult to find the front gate to the property using the address on Booking.com. The downstairs bedroom smelt damp and there was very limited airflow. A welcome book in English would have been appreciated. Unfortunately for us due to rain during our stay, we were unable to use the outdoor seating area as often as we would have liked.
