Fully remodeled in 2020, the hideaway offers a bright living space that features elegant wood floors, doors, and trim throughout, and the modern, well-planned decor adds a rustic-chic feel. Free high-speed internet rounds out your home's amenities, along with central heating and air-conditioning.
Three cozy bedrooms plus a bonus bedroom allow seven people to sleep comfortably. The custom bathrooms with tile, stone, and glass doors are features you are sure to love. Mealtime will be a fun event when you gather around the butcherblock island to prepare your favorite dish. The full kitchen includes stainless steel appliances such as a gas range, an over-size refrigerator, and an undermount sink, just a few of the subtle upgrades you will no doubt appreciate. The dining table is the perfect place to host dinner parties or game nights. During warmer months, take your meals outside to the deck's large picnic table an al-fresco meal for friends and family. Cookouts are a blast with the gas grill and Adirondack chairs provided for a laid-back atmosphere in a natural setting. Finally, the private outdoor hot tub will soak your cares away after romping around in our Central Oregon playground.
This location is ideal for those looking forward to experiencing the best of Bend, an outdoor paradise. Downtown Bend is less than three miles north and is delightfully walkable, and Old Mill District is only one-and-a-half miles north with plenty of shopping opportunities. Dine out at Bos Taurus or another one of the neighborhood’s upscale establishments, or enjoy a casual dinner on the Crux Brewing patio. A popular spot for both locals and tourists alike is the Tumalo Falls (15 miles away). Visitors will get to admire the beautiful, pristine waters flow into the canyon below, a picture-perfect scenery. Hike along the river and find a place to sit. If you visit during the winter months, Mt. Bachelor (21 miles away) is the place to go. Snow tubing, skiing, snowboarding, dog sledding, snowshoeing, skiing lessons, and so much more await! If you’re visiting Bend during the summer, don’t miss the chance to float the Deschutes River - which happens to run right through the middle of town, so your rental won’t be far. Hiking, paddle boarding, mountain biking, and rock climbing are all fair game, too. Secret bonus: take a nature hike straight from the house without driving! At the end of Milo Street, you'll find an access trail that will lead you to the Central Oregon Irrigation District (COID) land that has miles of trails and connects to the Deschutes River Trail.
