On the quieter south end of FMB, this 900 sq ft bright, comfortable, 2-bdr beach condo is in a great location. Bay Village is a welcoming community and a hidden gem in a lovely residential neighbourhood tucked just behind Estero Blvd. With easy access to the beach, you are just a short 7 minute walk where the sun, sand and breathtaking sunsets awaits you.
Unwind in Fort Myers Beach at this adorable, well equipped condo. With 2 bedrooms featuring a king size bed and two XL twin beds, along with 2 bathrooms equipped with a shower and bathtub, this refreshed condo is perfect for guests looking for a relaxing getaway.
Overlooking the waters of the back lagoon, Bay Village offers the natural, quiet beauty of the back bays while just a short walk to the gorgeous sugar white sand beaches and turquoise waters of the Gulf.
For your convenience, there is a washer/dryer in the condo along with free wifi and cable. There is also free parking in the covered parking spot 106 and additional guest parking.
Please note: The condo is located on the 1st floor and a few stairs are required. The building elevator is being repaired and is scheduled to be operational late fall of 2025.
Beach chairs, umbrella and a beach wagon are supplied and waiting for you in the storage room. There is a STRICT NO SMOKING, NO PETS policy which has been implemented for the health and comfort of all guests and the owner.
Amenities of Bay Village include a resort sized heated salt water pool with a sundeck and lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas to soak up the Florida sunshine. A tennis court (which has been lined off for pickleball play) is also available, in addition to two shuffleboard courts to add to the fun. A barbecue and sitting area are also available behind each set of buildings.
Although FMB is in the process of rebuilding, island time is back! Along Estero Blvd, you will find food trucks, restaurants and bars opened, with live music, fresh pink shrimp, and all the natural splendor this tropical island paradise has to offer.
Take the short ride by car, bike or the island trolley to the north end of the island and visit the new Margaritaville Resort especially the rooftop "License to Chill Bar" and patio. Venture on to Old San Carlos Boulevard and frequent the many "old" favourite restaurants and bars such as "Wahoo Willies", "Snug Harbour" and "Nervous Nellies". Also at the north end of the island sits Bowditch Point Park with its turtle walk and lively beach where all the boats pass on their way out to the Gulf.
This vacation condo's ideal location offers easy southbound access to the mainland. You can choose to go south to Lovers Key State Park, where you can hike along nature trails, canoe or kayak along estuaries and bicycle amidst the mangroves or further south to exclusive shopping centers in Bonita and Naples.
Santini Marina Plaza is within walking distance from the condo ( 1 mile south on Estero Blvd). There is a farmers market which operates every Tues and Thurs from 9am-1pm. A few stores are also currently open such as "Surfside" store, "Sweet Licks" ice-cream shop, "The Islander Gift Gallery" Leanis Swim and Casualwear" and "Anette's Book Nook", with more stores to come. Also adjacent to Santini's is a CVS.
The island's major supermarket, Publix, is just a 1.2 mile drive north on Estero along with two lively restaurants on the Bay, Junkanoo and Fresh Catch Bistro.
We would like to note that there is still construction occurring on the island as Fort Myers Beach rebuilds newer and stronger after Hurricane Ian. They have been hard at work to make the island beautiful again. Despite the recovery mode, we are ready to welcome visitors back and are certain you will enjoy our beautifully restored, white sandy beaches and turquoise blue Gulf waters.
