Absolutely Charming! Guests will feel right at home in this beautifully renovated 3+ bedroom/2 bath bungalow. Coastal cottage/Pottery Barn decor throughout; expansive gourmet kitchen facing a stunning backyard ideal for outdoor entertaining, crab feasts, morning coffee by the fountain or a glass of wine curled up by the fire pit at night. It's so tranquil its hard to believe you are only steps away from the heart of downtown!
Situated only three blocks off West Street in downtown Annapolis, this convenient location gives you instant access to sightseeing, shopping, restaurants and bars, boat cruises and Naval Academy activities. Enjoy the heated outdoor shower after a day of paddle boarding or kayaking on the Chesapeake. Spa Creek is only three blocks away giving you access to local water taxi service, or if you prefer, the city trolley which runs every 10 minutes at the end of the street. Its close proximity to St. Mary's, St. Anne's First Presbyterian, The Westin and the Naval Academy Chapel makes it ideal for wedding parties and guests.
The home sleeps 7 comfortably with 3 separate bedrooms. Main floor has 2 bedrooms each with queen beds and a shared full bath & walk-in shower. Upstairs is a king size bed and a second bathroom with tub/shower. In the upstairs nook, there is a double bed. The 'egg couch' in the upstairs solarium is also a very comfortable single bed alternative if required. Since the master suite is an open area, guests must feel comfortable bunking in the same room. For your convenience, WIFI, off-street parking and free passes for on-street parking for additional vehicles are all included with your stay. This home is ideal for family gatherings, girl's weekends, NAVY events, wedding parties/guests and/or couple's getaways.
Many people ask about the tiny house in the photos! We converted a garage a couple of years ago and its it's part of our property. It includes a very comfortable sleeper sofa with inflatable mattress (if you've never slept on one they are fabulous!), full bath, walk-in shower, microwave, refrigerator, built in desk. This is typically used by the owners only but if you require additional space for your guests, let me know. We rent this on occasion at a negotiable rate.
If you are visiting Annapolis for Commissioning Week, the Navy-Marine Corp Stadium is within walking distance. Many families in our community support midshipmen throughout their 4 years at the Academy and take part in Navy football in the Fall. Annapolis is also the perfect destination for the world famous Boat Show, Renaissance Festival or weekend getaways for city dwellers in Washington DC (35 minutes) and/or Baltimore (45 minutes).
