Erw is in Llandanwg, a small hamlet with its own beach and estuary, set in the Snowdonia National Park and is part of the beautiful Cardigan Bay sandy coastline in North Wales. Gather the family for a beach break near the mountains AND the sea! Situated three minutes walk from Erw is the beautiful Llandanwg beach with its stunning panoramic views of the sea, the Llyn Peninsula and the mountains of Snowdonia (including Snowdon itself) dominating the northern and eastern skyline. The beach is a wonderful setting for children to build sandcastles, explore the rockpools, fly a kite and finish with an ice-cream from the Y Maes beach cafe. Llandanwg is an ideal base for walkers, with beautiful routes in the hills, valleys and easy access to the Wales Coastal Path. There are also cycle trails that run through the hills nearby.
