Pleasant rural & natural surrounding, nestled in the hollow of the gentle hilly Mâcon countryside, succession of bucolic valleys of vineyard slopes, fields & meadows and wooded hills (several wild forests dotted with hiking trails to explore around including the Bois de Naisse ), adjoining the banks of the nearby Saône & its rich biotope (protected natural area classified as ZNIEFF).
