Fernando and Agueda welcome you to a charming country house dating from 1843, fully restored and steeped in history - one of the oldest listed buildings in the area - located on a particularly well-kept enclosed property of 1500m² (electric gate and large paved courtyard), with an exceptional rental income, nestled on the banks of the Saône, along the historic towpath that is now occupied by the blue route (direct access!). In a quiet location, in the heart of a charming residential hamlet nestled on an exposed hillside, overlooking the river as a "balcony". Privileged location between town and countryside in the heart of an enchanting bucolic setting, literally restful and relaxing, in close proximity to all amenities. 7 km from the city center of Mâcon, the southernmost city in Burgundy, birthplace of the famous poet Lamartine (a "Classified Tourist Resort"), boasting a notable historical heritage (St. Peter's Church, wooden house, Hôtel Dieu, Romanesque St. Vincent Cathedral, Ursuline Convent, etc.) and charming pedestrian neighborhoods to explore.
