The main village is 300m walk away through olive groves, where you will find a baker's, two butcher's, a greengrocer's and a newsagent's. There are several restaurants and bars in the village. You can enjoy a varied holiday: relaxing by the pool in the garden & wandering through the village, visiting cultural cities & hill-top towns(being south of Lucca this is an excellent location for touring Tuscany), walking in marshlands & mountains, sunbathing on the beach. English owners always available for advice. The apartment is in a typical Italian courtyard setting where 2 families live full-time, so you can experience real Italian living (which can sometimes be noisy!)
