The Kiva Grill is the perfect spot for brunch. Located in the Kiva Dunes Resort and Golf clubhouse, this restaurant grills up fantastic shrimp or Mahi po’boys, a great kids menu, and some of the area’s best grits.

Come by for a drink during happy hour after a round of golf and enjoy the fully stocked bar. There’s plenty to see, and the restaurant has a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. Plus, they’re open seven days a week.

Pirates Bar and Grill

Pirates Bar and Grill is located on Dauphin Island, which requires a ferry ride from Fort Morgan. The ferry ride leaves from the historic fort and lets you encounter sea life and birds. Once there, the restaurant is a very short drive.

The first thing on the menu is the Original Dauphin Island Bushwacker. It’s an ice cream treat for grown-ups. Ice cream, rum, chocolate, rum, and cherries on top. Did I mention rum?

The wings are delicious, as are the po’boys, and all the seafood is locally sourced.

They are open six days a week, closed Tuesdays.
