1860 restored family house just 1.7 miles from Ski Windham and 6 miles from Hunter mountain. Our house is well maintained to a high comfortable standard. It is cozy with 2 wood burning stoves (plenty of seasoned wood) 3 large relaxing family gathering rooms, all furnished comfortably in a country house style with flat screen TV, PSP 3&4 plus games for both systems. The bedrooms are spacious with queen size beds and new tiled bathrooms with tubs and a high pressure shower. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, chefs stove, double fridge, dishwasher and plenty of quality utensils and dishes. New oversized washer and dryer in the basement. We have a spacious deck with dining for 10, an outside fireplace and a hot tub that is relaxing and soothing after a day on the slopes. Utilities, hi speed internet, cable tv, are included in the price.
The house is very conveniently located, you can walk to a lovely Italian restaurant, a diner that is great for breakfast and a hotel bar that features music bands on Saturday nights.
The town of Windham is just 3 miles away where you will find ski rental, French, steak, Italian restaurants, bakery, pub, diner, library, movie theater and games hall.
There are hiking trails that start just 200 yards from the house.
