Relax and revive in a fabulous Caribbean setting. This stylish and spacious condo for 4 (and up to 6) has 2 bedrooms with 2 en-suite bathrooms on the upper floor, gorgeous ocean views, air conditioning and secure parking for one car. On the southern tip of Barbados and an easy 15 minute drive from the airport, you are quickly transported onto the glorious white sandy beach of Silver Rock, just 70 metres from the apartment, with some of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing on the Island.
Capture the morning sun, ocean breezes and magnificent sunset views from the pretty living room balcony, which has outdoor seating for 6 and a coffee table. The charming open-plan living area has elegant French doors onto the balcony, a large sofa and 2 armchairs, Cable TV, WiFi, and a selection of movies. Gather for meals around a large oak table to seat 6.
A cheerful and contemporary fitted kitchen has a 4 ring electric hob and oven, microwave cooker, large fridge and separate freezer, along with plenty of crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment. Next to the kitchen is a laundry room with cloakroom facilities including a large American washer and separate dryer, a sink and WC.
Wake up to beautiful sea views in the cool, comfortable upstairs bedrooms. The principal bedroom has its own seafront balcony, a 6’ Kingsize bed and a large walk-in dressing room with plenty of storage. A smart fully tiled en-suite bathroom has a large walk-in shower, hand-basin with storage under and WC. The second bedroom is light and airy and has two pretty French style 4’6’ double beds along with a similar walk-in dressing area and an en-suite shower room. This too is smartly tiled with a large shower, hand-basin with storage under and WC. Both rooms have ceiling fans, electric window shutters and air conditioning (a/c supplement requested... see all descriptions).
This tranquil and friendly neighbourhood has a local shop 5 minutes’ walk from the apartment which is open 7 days a week until 10 p.m. and has basic stores. There is a large supermarket called ‘Super Centre - Massys’ in Oistins which is a 5 minute drive and has a bigger selection of groceries, imported produce, newspapers and a pharmacy. Oistins is famous for its fish market and has a very popular ‘Fish Fry’ every Friday night on the beach with a cook-up, live music and other staged events.
Closer to home, The Surfer's Bay Beach Bar is within walking distance and is a great local hang-out with rum punch, cocktails and ice cold beer. They serve up fresh fish daily and have live music every Sunday night.
There are restaurants for everyone starting from Oistins all the way up the coast to the glamorous west side. The apartment folder lists them, along with a local taxi service.
