Positive: We stayed at the house for two nights at the start of August, and enjoyed it very much. Olivia is a responsive and helpful host, with a great sense of hospitality (the porter cake was an eye-opener!). The house itself is as represented in the photos, the apartment being the lower floor, and is nicely decorated, with an very comfortable living room and bedroom with excellent beds. We slept well and woke to the sounds of the stream that runs some meters downhill from the house. Facilities for breakfasting are very good and covers all the essentials. The location is some minutes' drive south of Westport, quiet and rural despite only being a short distance from town. Take the R335 near Westport, then turn left onto the L1822, and it's a short drive further. More easily located in some daylight the first time one arrives! One can also continue further on L1822 to get a short-cut onto N59 if going toward the Killary Fjord / Connemara area. Westport itself is a lovely town with lots of opportunities for strolls and good food, and the house is a good base from which to go either around Westport area or further afield north or south.
