The famous bay of Ramla (6 minutes drive), assumed by most as the island’s best beach, is one of the must-dos when visiting Gozo. This beach is very popular for swimming and snorkelling while the golden coloured sand is a haven for sunbathers. Another popular tourist area which is also close and easily accessed by public transport is Marsalforn Bay (10 minutes drive). This bay is a popular base for diving enthusiasts, where you can choose from a variety of diving schools (there is a diving school at just a 13-minutes walk from the apartment as well) and dive sites and is well served by nice restaurants and bars by the sea.
