Welcome to Casa Bel Mar! The Captains Quarters (primary bedroom) has a king bed with full ensuite bathroom and a Smart TV. The Mermaid Room (second bedroom) has a queen bed and a Smart TV. The Pirates Room (third bedroom) has two twin bunkbeds and a Smart TV.
A stacked washer and dryer is conveniently located in the main hallway. A full kitchen with a six-seat dining room table is connected to the open and spacious living room. Connected off the living room is an amazingly large fully screened porch with an additional table and lounge seating - the perfect place to enjoy the Gulf breeze without insects! Outside you will find additional seating and an outdoor shower for a refreshing rinse off after a day at the beach!
Weather event cancellations - eligible for refunds when weather or conditions result in a mandatory evacuation order or large-scale outage of essential utilities. Note June through November is considered high storm and hurricane potential season. Travel insurance is recommended - although ensure you are aware of covered conditions.
OCCUPANCY - For a comfortable stay and per the home rules, maximum of six guests ages 18+. Maximum number of total guests is eight - maximum ten during the day. An additional charge of $25 per night is charged for guests (including children) exceeding six. An additional fee of $100 per guest will be charged if the number of over-night guests exceeds the number on the reservation.
Guests must be at least 25 years old to book, able to provide government issued photo ID, and have completed the verification process on Airbnb/VRBO, OR have at least one 5-star guest review.
PETS - Adult dogs are allowed to a max of two and max 60 lbs each. $60 per dog per stay. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after (doggie bags provided) and are in a kennel if left alone inside the home. Only dogs are allowed - no other types of pets.
An additional fee of $100 per pet in addition to the standard pet fee will be charged and/or eviction without a refund for undisclosed pets.
Service Dogs - Texas House Bill 4164 penalties for falsely representing an animal as a service animal is a misdemeanor punishable by up to a $1000 fine and 30 hours of community service.
Beach toys, corn hole, boogie boards, chairs and a cooler are provided. A few beach towels are also provided - please just ensure to wash them after use and return them to the Captains Quarters bathroom closet.
ADDITIONAL FEES
An additional fee of $200 will be charged for smoking inside the house.
Guests will have access to the entire home and property with the exception of the garages.
Less than a 10-minute walk to the beach with easy access to cross San Luis Pass Rd at the traffic light intersection. Golf carts and vehicles are allowed on the beach - so good to drive down with your beach gear!
Located within six blocks away, the City of Jamaica Beach Regatta Basin, aka the "Marina", features a single, stabilized, paved boat ramp that provides access to the canals, which lead to West Bay, a parking area, and seating area (no restrooms). Guest permit is required.
The City of Jamaica Beach swimming pool is open to the public (with the purchase of admission). During the operating season, the entry fee for residents and non-residents is $5.00 per person for a daily pass or $60.00 per person for a Season pass. Season pass membership can be purchased at the pool anytime during the operating season. The pool typically opens around the Memorial Day Holiday until the Labor Day Holiday on Tuesday-Sunday from 10AM to 8PM (weather permitting and subject to change). Please note: at the beginning and end of the season, the pool will be open on weekends only while local, public schools are in session.
For golf enthusiasts, the newly renovated, public 18-hole, Moody Gardens Golf Course is less than 8 miles away. Over 500 palm trees are on the property!
