We want to give you an experience that will make you feel that this property is "your place" in Crystal River. This large 3 bedroom, 2 bath waterfront home sleeps 10 people, and 14 can dine in the gourmet kitchen. The gorgeous, L shaped heated Saltwater pool overlooks the wide deep water canal. Dolphins and manatee come up to the dock and you can launch our kayaks, canoe or SUP paddle board (all included in the rental rate) right from the dock. You can also tie up and keep your boat at our dock during your stay. There is a boat launch just 3 minutes away. All of our vacation rental homes are equipped with Pack and Play's for our guests with infants. The beautiful sunroom w/ a 42 in. flatscreen TV overlooks the pool, water and large floating dock. Two very nice SUN bicycles are also included in the rental rate along with fishing gear and other water floatables. A charcoal grill and a portable fish cleaning station is also included. Save $$ by not having to rent kayaks, canoes, bikes, etc.! RENTAL RATE: $199 night w/ 3 night minimum plus $150 cleaning fee and 100% refundable $500 security deposit. THIS IS A NO SMOKING PROPERTY. There are large Sailfin Catfish, Sheepshead fish and Red Snapper to be caught right from the dock. You can also catch freshwater bass and trap blue crabs off the dock. Feel free to use our 3 sit on top fishing kayaks with rod holders, paddles and PFDs, our two Sun Bicycles to ride to the mall or state park preserve, our SUP paddle board, and our canoe to get you to 3 sister's springs. The front and side yards are large and filled with palm trees. There is a large 2 car garage with a work bench and plenty of storage area.There is room in the driveway for two vehicles or a boat trailer or RV. This dog-friendly waterfront home (BUT NO DOGS IN POOL PLEASE!) is located on a family-friendly street in the coveted north end of Crystal River near the mall, restaurants and the downtown area. It is 3 min. from Crystal River Watersports where you can launch your boat for $10, and buy bait and fishing equipment. When not rented, the home is used by our family for personal vacations. The home is furnished with good quality (all new) furniture. A queen size sleeper sofa and loveseat, and a trundle bed that sleeps two overlooks the pool and water. There are newer Kenmore Elite stainless steel appliances, comfortable pillowtop bedding on all beds, linens, bathrobes, towels, dishes, a toaster oven, a convection oven, a griddle, grill, fish cleaning station and many more accessories too numerous to list. The kitchen is stocked with good-quality cookware needed to prepare family meals. The master bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed and its own large bathroom. Both the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have queen beds.There is also another full bathroom with tub located between the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. We also have an inflatable Queen size Serta Sleeper matress available (when used, the home sleeps 12 people). The flooring in the living room and common areas is beautiful ceramic tile making clean-up easy and fast . There are five new flat-screen TVs; a 60 in. in the livingroom, a 52 in. in the master bedroom, a 42” in the sunroom, and a 32” in the 2nd & 3rd bedrooms. Wi-Fi and basic cable TV are included along with DVD/CD players. This family-friendly home is located on a deep canal with Gulf access. The canal is 14 ft. deep at high tide and 5 ft deep at low tide. VERY large boats access this canal easily. There is one bridge going out to the Gulf but it is 40 ft high so NO height restrictions. The house is less than 4 miles from the scalloping grounds (this house is also 4 miles closer to the Gulf than If you stay at a home on Kings Bay). The Sunroom (w/TV) features seating to enjoy the pool, canal and wildlife. The pool lanai is screened with a special fine mesh to help keep even the smallest bugs out (please rinse off and change swim clothes before going from the river into the pool). The home is approximately 5-10 minutes drive from King’s Bay (& 3 sisters springs) and 35 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico by boat (its a no wake zone in the River). Two nice beaches including Fort Island Beach is nearby. A large public pool with a skate park is also nearby (behind the airport). Beautiful and peaceful Crystal River has activities for the whole family and is the only place where it is legal to swim with the manatee, and offers one of the few remaining areas to scallop in Florida during the summer. With all of the spring fed rivers and miles of mangroves Crystal River has the best Scalloping grounds in the US. Some of the best scalloping action is usually in 4-6 ft of water around Gomez Rocks at Latitude 2829.8, Longitude 8243.7. Offshore, there is shallow and deep water fishing. The nearby mall has a multiplex movie theater, restaurants and shopping in historic downtown Crystal River. The house is only a short walk or bicycle ride from the Crystal River State Park Reserve and the Mullet Hole fishing spot. There are nine beautiful state parks nearby or play golf at one of the many nearby golf courses. Your family will make wonderful vacation memories here. *Please Note: The pool spa at this property is not a hot tub. The spa does not heat up above the temperature of the pool.
