Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The apartment was comfortable and clean, with all things necessary to make one independent. We were able to cook and wash clothes with the washing machine. It was 11 minutes walk from the city centre which was just right for us 2 seniors to manage. We attended the week long International Guitar festival, and would consider staying again next year, but only if a hand rail was installed at the street entryway.
Negative: The steps from the street to the door of the apartment block are too steep. There is no hand rail and it is downright dangerous. Serious injury could occur with the potential of a claim for public liability insurance. I spoke to the lady who was cleaning another room, and she said steps were not approved by the city council. So what happens when someone falls and sues the city council or the owner of the apartments? This needs attention before someone falls.
Summary: Great apartment, but put in a hand rail on the street side before someone falls.
