Beautiful and elegant masseria with swimming pool located in a large property at the gates of the city of Galatina and a few miles from the white beaches of Gallipoli, Masseria Lo Scalfo is composed of an ancient nucleus with tower dating back to 1500 and a traditional "court house" "Dated 1800. Today completely renovated to become a home of charm, it is characterized by spacious and brightly furnished with an exquisite mix of ancient and shabby-chic in which respect for the materials and tradition are also evident in the choice of colors, with a predominance of white , which define every room. To complete a magical and timeless setting in which to get lost as soon as you enter the gate, the wonderful and well-kept garden that surrounds the entire farm and thanks to the wealth of trees and plants of all kinds allows you to identify different and naturally separate corners where to get lost , alone, in moments of pleasant relaxation and rest.
COMPOSITION (articulated on two levels)
Large main entrance with a wooden door which leads to the living area on the left and to the sleeping area on the right. Living area: large double living room furnished with sofas and armchairs, fireplace, TV, windows on inner court and garden, small secondary entrance, dining room, large fully equipped eat-in kitchen with direct access to the courtyard through French windows, 1 half bathroom and laundry room. Sleeping area: 2 double bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom / shower, loft corridor with 2 single beds, 1 double bedroom on mezzanine with possibility of 1 extra single bed, 1 bathroom / shower in the corridor, hallway with stairs that leads to the "suit tower" on the first floor composed of a small living area with sofas and a French window leading to the large panoramic terrace, 1 large bright double bedroom (note: this room uses the bathroom on the ground floor which is located next to the stairs).
EXTERNAL
Internal courtyard square-shaped furnished with umbrellas, table and chairs for 12 people perfect for outdoor lunches and dinners, relax corner with sofas and armchairs in wicker; Pool 11 × 5.50 (1.20m deep) recently built in a corner of the property that is almost a small natural quarry, with around solarium area with sun beds and gazebo set up with cushions, sofa and armchairs; a very large area of which a part intentionally preserved in its original state while the part closest to the house is characterized by a beautiful partially terraced garden full of trees, flowers and plants typical of the Mediterranean scrub.
EQUIPMENT: washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kitchen mixer, stereo, WiFi, 2 TV, BBQ, fans in bedrooms, mosquito nets, 2 bicycles. Note: the Masseria has air conditioning in all bedrooms.
