A traditional rural villa ('Finca') in the heart of a Spanish village on the outskirts of Cartagena, 'Pozo Dulce' is your ideal getaway.
The property comes with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms with an extensive garden, orchard, play area and private swimming pool. There is also a gas barbeque for outdoor dining and a large gazebo in which to enjoy your food.
The main house contains a large 'Games Room', with an American pool table, dart board, TV and board games. There is also a small bar with wine fridge and 'spare' fridge to chill your beers as you enjoy shooting some pool. For those a little more energetic amongst you, there is also a table tennis 'top' which is separate and can be placed over the pool table if you wish.
The kitchen is open plan with the dining room and is the hub of the main house. There is a separate laundry room. In the winter months, the log burner in the dining room will keep you nice a toasty.
Three of the bedrooms (south facing) contain AC units, with remote control, and all rooms in the house contain ceiling fans.
The are three small bars/restaurants within 2-3 minutes walk and a small 'bodega', where you can buy wine straight from the barrel, as well as other things you may have forgotten from the supermarket. The local pharmacy is also a mere 3 minutes walk, with the bank and cash point another 2 minutes beyond that.
For 'big' shops, 'Espacio Mediteraneo' is only 10 minutes drive away and is a major shopping centre containing Carrefour. Slightly closer, though in the opposite direction, are the smaller supermarkets in Santa Ana as well as an array of restaurants and bars.
Cartagena city itself is approximately 15minutes by car with it's beautiful marina, city centre and beach.
A large number of golf courses are within a short driving distance, as are the beaches of Los Alcazares, La Manga and the aforementioned Cartagena.
In case of emergency, the nearest hospital (Santa Lucia) is on the way to Cartagena and also approximately 10-15minutes away by car.
There is a bus that stops close to the finca, which leaves every hour and runs straight to the heart of Cartagena.
