Beautiful house in secure area of Rivière Noire on the west coast of Mauritius with an area of 180 m2 in a small shaded courtyard with a slate-covered swimming pool. The house is supplied with the following equipment:

Rivière Noire is a coastal village in the west of Mauritius which has kept its authenticity and calm. The Balise district where our house is located is at the southern end of the village towards Le Morne. It's a quiet neighborhood where life is good. The road leading to the Black River Gorges is 500m from our house while the sea is a 5 minute walk.
The region is known for its beaches, its welcoming population, big game fishing (marlin, sharks ...), golf and hiking and cycling.
Rivière Noire is therefore an ideal holiday village both for those seeking rest and relaxation and for those seeking to have fun and have a good time.
Our house is also registered as a tourist residence with the national tourist office with the approval number 10977.

Summary: We stayed for one week in this property and loved it. A lovely house, very well designed and well equipped for a home from home holiday. The pool was very welcome for an early morning or late afternoon splash. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and were very accommodating with any requests we had. With regards to the area, we had spent the previous week in another rental up in the north of the island and there is no comparison - the south of the island and the location of this property wins hands down!
