Summary: A spacious and well appointed apartment within the Villa. The views from the terrace are spectacular and overlook the Giardini Naxos bay all the way to the Cape of Taormina. From the terrace of the main bedroom there is also a wonderful view of Mt Etna in all her glory. The apartment itself is well equipped and has pretty much everything you need (fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, towels, hairdryer, bbq crockery Ian’s cutlery) and there wasn’t anything that we needed to ask for. The pool area is a sun trap and very spacious with a very good size swimming pool and outdoor shower (hot and cold) area. There are plenty of sun loungers and parasols for those with children’s and/or wishing to keep out of the hot sun. The grounds and gardens of the Villa are pretty, clean and well kept. The only caution that I would add is that the Villa is located in an elevated position and, although only a short walk from the centre and beach (5 minutes), the walk back to the Villa is up hill which is steep on some places so may not be suitable for the elderly. In summary, a great Villa in a great location with great facilities…..and Salvatore and Titti were warm, welcoming and excellent hosts.
