Summary: First off, the pictures on the listing don't do the place justice. The apartment is more spacious than it looks. All the rooms are large, beds comfortable and with an array of pillows to suit every preference (which is important for us), with a great kitchen close to the door to the terrace offering great ventilation. The terrace is also wide, chairs and tables to dine out looking over the nice street below, and Taormina on the hills to the left. The place was sparkling clean, no shortages of linen and towels, and the kitchen was not only well equipped, but was also stocked with condiments and spices and what not, which the host graciously provided. There's a bust stop steps away from the apartment, but most of the lidos and even the port itself were within reach of walking, restaurants, and supermarkets as well right out front, and a 3 minutes walk over to the back side of the apartments across the road and you're by the beach! There were also beach umbrellas. Tony was literally at our beck and call, providing detailed information and recommendations for whatever we needed. Our flight was departing from Catania, and as we were a family and struggling to get feasible transport options heading super early out, he helped us out! Thank you for the great stay and hospitality, Tony! Travelers, I assure you, you will not be disappointed staying in Tony's place!
