Valley Vista is a cozy, one-level, single-family home nestled high in the mountainside of Maggie Valley with a hot tub and mountain views. The living room features a soaring, vaulted ceiling, lots of natural light, wood-burning fireplace, and adjoining screened porch. Below, a larger covered deck holds a four-person hot tub, also with aforementioned mountain views. You’ll find it by taking the exterior steps on the right side of the home.
Inside, there’s a split bedroom floorplan with two bedrooms, each equipped with a desk and a smart TV, and two full bathrooms, one with a tub and the other with a shower. The kitchen is open to the living and dining areas with an island and all of the essentials you need to cook a meal. There’s also a stackable washer/dryer if you need to do laundry, and there’s a pull-out sleeper sofa in the living room, if your crew needs an extra bed. Summary: The views from the home are incredible. The screened in porch is a great way to watch the sun rise/set. The home was quiet and hot tub was great. The outdoors makes up for the indoors. Cons: As others have mentioned the home could use a very deep clean. The beds and kitchen and other touch areas were fine, but it needed a good scrub and dusting. There are cob webs all over and thick dust in areas. The master bed was so uncomfortable that we moved to the smaller room. It can be a little hard to find at night and was made harder by there being no lights on when we arrived. You cannot get to the hot tub without going out of the front door. We couldn’t find it the first night.
