4 season vacation destination on 1/2 acre property, conveniently located in Haliburton Village with a variety of local amenities and activities to choose from.
Great "work from home" alternative with wifi and a dedicated workspace. Clock out and enjoy sunset by the lake, drinks in the sunroom and dinner by the campfire.

The space
4 season house
1st floor - living room, kitchen, sunroom, laundry
2nd floor - main bedroom, second bedroom, bathroom
Kitchen is fully stocked with a coffee machine, blender, kettle, crock pot, microwave, stove, oven, pots/pans, baking sheet, chef knife, wine glasses, etc.
Large screened in sunroom with a seating area and room for yoga / workout. Yoga mats available or bring your own. Spend dusk in the sunroom to enjoy wild deer sightings in the backyard in this mosquito free space.
- Bedroom 1 has a queen bed.
- Bedroom 2 has a double bed.
- Living room has a comfortable couch (*let me know if a guest will be sleeping on the couch and I will provide extra linens - long couch, guests 5'9" or shorter can fully extend).

Located in Haliburton Village. Less than 10 min walk to the waterfront on Head Lake and other local amenities. In town but off the main road, so you can enjoy privacy & quiet.
Enjoy pub grub at McKecks, pizza at 241, Chinese from Win Yeung or a variety of other restaurants & pubs. Top restaurants Rhubarb and Peppermill are 20 mins away. Local breweries available as well. See welcome book for more recommendations.
Visit the Haliburton Sculpture Forest or enjoy views of all of Haliburton Village from Skyline Park. Take a stroll around the neighbourhood to explore some of the original homes of Haliburton Village (founded in 1864) or various new builds (I recommend walking to the right from the driveway).
SUMMER - Quick drive to a number of sandy beaches, hiking trails, rail trail (bike or ATV), fishing, public tennis courts and golf courses. Canoe, kayak, stand up paddle board and other water toys available for rent at Algonquin Outfitters. Visit the Wolf Centre at Haliburton Forest & Wildlife Reserve.
WINTER - Ski and snowboard at Sir Sam's (14 runs, 4 chair lifts). Cross country Skiing, dog sledding, snowmobiling trails and Wolf Centre at the Haliburton Wildlife Reserve. Snowshoes, cross country skis and other winter equipment available for rent at Algonquin Outfitters.

Other things to note
- This property is on a septic plumbing system. Excessive water use may damage the system. Please limit water consumption and absolutely NO flushing of anything other than toilet paper and natural waste down toilets (guests will be responsible for any potential damages/repairs resulting from their stay).
- This properties water source is well water. Water is tested via Public Health Ontario and is safe (we drink from the tap regularly). For your comfort, feel free to bring your own bottled water. Please recycle in the bins provided.
- Strict NO party / NO smoking (incl. vapes, e-cigs) policy. Please treat the cottage & neighbours with respect.
- Guests must adhere to the local by-laws regarding when fires can be lit. The current by-law states "no day time burning is permitted between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. between April 1 and October 31". Guests are responsible for checking the Dysart Municipal website for updated information on fire bans (municipality website - dysartetal. ca).
- Haliburton does not have garbage pickup. Please bring garbage / recycling to the landfill - 6 mins drive away, or bring it home with you.
- I have a Nest doorbell at the front entrance (security camera / recording device).
