The kilometer-long, white sandy beach in California offers optimal bathing conditions, since it falls shallowly into the water, and is therefore also well suited for bathing and splashing with children.
The former Baltic Holiday Park Holm has an excellent infrastructure supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants and doctors are in the immediate vicinity (about 4 km) to find, recreational opportunities such as mini golf, bike rentals and a sailing and windsurfing school there on site.
The resort has ample parking for the guests. Directly in front of the building there is also a bus stop for the lines 200 and 201, which run between Schönberg and Kiel.
