As you enter the home through the greenhouse, which includes an outdoor shower, redwood jacuzzi tub, and koi pond, the great room is sure to render you speechless. As you gaze on the adobe fireplace your eyes naturally gravitate the dome style architecture. Kick off your boots from a long day of skiing and feel the radiant floor heating as it heats up your toes.
The home is two levels and provides large open spaces and abundant natural light. The views are magnificent from the perfectly placed windows throughout the home. Fall gently to sleep in the king-size master bed as you gaze upon the Milky Way. Wake up as the sun rises over the San Juan's as you peek from your bed at Pagosa Peak.
Wildlife abounds on this property. You are often greeted by deer as you drive home. Turkeys are often waiting for you to awake as they meander the estate. Sit back and relax and watch all your feathered friends take flight from the deck or porches. Warm up by the outdoor fire pit or cook up some s'mores on chilly nights, or BBQ on the outdoor gas grill.
The first floor features a queen-size bed with breathtaking mountain views and its own private patio. It also comes equipped with a nicely appointed kitchen and office area.

Wolf Creek Ski Area – (34 miles). While the area is largely unknown outside of Colorado, it is beloved by powder hounds. Wolf Creek boasts epic snowfall, generally 465+ inches annually – more than any other ski resort in Colorado. Snow is so prolific here that the resort typically opens in October, giving it one of the longest seasons in the country.
Pagosa Springs – (9.5 miles). Named by the Southwestern Ute word, "Pagosah" which translates as, "healing waters." The all-natural, geothermal hot springs have been a driving attraction to the area for generations. The Mother Spring feeds all the geothermal pools and waterworks in Pagosa Springs and is certified as the world's deepest geothermal hot spring aquifer at a depth of over 1002 feet. The San Juan River runs through the town and is surrounded by the San Juan Mountains. Pagosa Springs has some of the most spectacular scenery and amazing hiking and hunting opportunities. You can enjoy seasonal festivals, craft beer, great restaurants and shopping, and live local music.
Treasure Falls – (23 miles). The name Treasure Falls came from Treasure Mountain, which as the legends goes, holds buried gold.
Durango – (69.9 miles). Founded in 1881, is home to La Plata Airport, the Railroad Museum, great restaurants, and shopping.

*Home has an Outdoor Security Camera in the front yard to monitor snow and the home exterior for security, and Ring Doorbell Cameras at both entrances. Due to Covid-19 guidelines and no in-person check-ins with our guests, we utilize this monitoring to verify the number of guests and vehicles match the reservation, and the strict enforcement of our no-pet policy.
*Four-wheel drive, AWD vehicles, or tire chains are recommended during heavy snow periods. If your vehicle is not equipped with any of these items, you may have to wait for the snowplow to clear the main highway and subdivision roads.
*Our Guests and Staff are our top priority. We amplified our already strict Covid-19 cleaning requirements by taking extra precautions when cleaning this home and making sure it is cleaned as defined by the CDC.

The retail premium charge for the Standard Travel Protection is 7% x trip cost. The upgraded protection adding the Cancel For Any Reason Benefit (CFAR) adds an additional 3.8% x trip cost (10.8% x trip cost in total). This coverage is available when your rental deposit is paid, but coverage is only in effect when we have received your premium payment. Eligibility requirements apply. Additional exclusions and limitations may apply if not purchased at the time of booking.
