If you love nature, tranquility & convenience then this waterfront home was destined to meet you. It feels like your classic Upstate NY getaway but w/way less elbow grease & stunning views at the junction of 2 creeks. Located just 3 minutes driving to the Village of Ellenville, once you stay here you may never want to go home. 5 acres to explore/hike at your leisure with roughly 1000’ of creek frontage, an onsite swimming hole, waterfalls & trout fishing.
The property is situated at the connection point of 2 creeks. We have a full kitchen, formal dining room, living room w/gas fireplace, 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, an uncovered back deck w/BBQ Grill(Gas & Charcoal) and creek view, and a covered front porch w/swing and creek view. Adjacent to the back deck we have a creekside fire pit. Nearly every room in the house has a creek view. And, you will get the best sleep of your life listening to the sound of the creek rush by.
Come cozy up by the fireplace and/or watch the snow fall on the creek in the Winter. Swim/fish/hike in the Spring, Summer & Fall. There is a plethora of activities around the area to keep you busy that includes wineries & breweries, mountain or rail trail hiking, farms and farmers markets, top quality theater, delicious restaurants on Ellenville's restaurant row and in nearby villages/towns, music (Bethel Woods is nearby), skiing, kayaking... You name it, we have it! As a bonus, NYS stocks our creeks with trout every year.
We have a Farmer's Market / Creamery, Shoprite, Walmart and Hospital within a 10 minute drive. The Village of Ellenville(The Ville) is a 3 minute drive from the house. Sam's Point and Minnewaska State Park are a 15 minute drive. There is plenty of family friendly activities around!!!

Summary: From planning to check out, Jessica was very responsive and informative, even gave us extra time to check out. We had everything we needed at the house. No frills but comfortable and great location. 15 mins to Sam’s Point, fantastic trails. The fire pit next to the river was so relaxing in the evening. Kids enjoyed the private trail behind the house. Wild nature all to yourself with no one else, can’t beat that. Lovely scenery, even led to waterfall. Only wish the house was more secluded, neighbors are very close. But nonetheless great base for hiking in the area.
