Summary: Myself and my three children stayed eight nights at Alonia Cottage in the lovely village of Vrisi during the last week of July 24. We couldn't have asked for better. The cottage was immaculate and fully equipped with A/C, Wifi and everything you could possibly require during your stay. There is a little shop just around the corner and a couple of popular Tavernas within a three minute walk. We visited the beautiful, quiet Mourteri beach most days which is about a fifteen minute drive, but there are several others up towards Kymi which are also nice and all within half an hour. I believe the area is also good for rock climbing and walking. Obviously a vehicle is required if you want to get about Evia. Finally, Maria and her brother and mum who run the property are lovely, helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble and we couldn't have wished for better. Efcharisto poli!
