Positive: This is the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in. Wonderful private pool and veranda. Very quiet and private. Great location away from the hustle & bustle - I highly recommend that you have a car. It is located down a long road off the highway.
Negative: These did not impact my positive score but they are worth mentioning as a FYI: 1) this is typical for any rental with air con in a humid environment- the space was a bit musty likely due to condensation when the A/C is turned off. I have very sensitive allergies so the first night was a bit uncomfortable. But, it was easily remedied with allergy meds (readily available at any pharmacy nearby) & airing out the rooms. 2) This unit is on the 3rd floor. For our entire stay, the elevator worked only once. It’s no big deal to take the stairs but I mention it in case anyone in your party struggles with stairs. 3) If you prefer drip coffee, there is only a Nespresso machine. Next time, I would probably throw a French press in my luggage or just plan on getting coffee in town (Turtle Bay has great lattes & cold brew).
