The house is very sunny, bright, breezy and well appointed with a Coastal Lowcountry historic & beach theme, a little jewel. 2 Bedrooms, 2 full Baths plus a Queen Lazy-boy sleeper. Upgrades include new tile or refinished hard wood floors throughout. Upscale furnishings, window treatments, kitchen appliances, new Sealy Posturepedic bedding, new vented gas fireplace, both exterior decks have been rebuilt and new painting throughout. THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL RENTAL, there are very few like it. Very clean, with lots of special touches.
Pass your time sitting on the river deck reading a book from our library with your favorite beverage or just watch the dolphins and boats pass by on the waterway or the the ospreys and pelicans diving for fish to feed their young. You can walk to the marina in just a minute, have cocktails with lunch or dinner at the "Marker 244". You can even charter a fishing boat there. LOWCOUNTRY LIFE AT IT'S FINEST. TideWatch has one of the best views on the Intercostal waterway. From the water front deck one can see both bridges, 2 marinas and downtown Beaufort. The Yacht & Sailing club sits across the river with sailboat races weekly. TideWatch is the only home on the Village river bluff with the Kitchen, Dining Room and Great Room facing the waterfront. The river deck has table seating for four with plus additional seating,, a chase lounge for sunning, and a cooking center with Weber Gas Grill. Have your meal under the motorized awning on the river deck. Low Country Living at it's best! TideWatch is 5 minutes from Parris Island, Downtown Beaufort, Port Royal and golf courses. 60 minutes to Hilton Head & Savannah,GA. 90 minutes to Charleston. Got a boat? Beaufort & Port Royal, towns both rich with history! Discovered by the Spanish in 1514 and chartered by the British in1711. Having flown under Seven Flags and known as the "Queen of the Carolina Sea Islands". In 1562 Captain Jean Ribaut, a French Huguenot sailing for Spain established the first settlement with 150 brave settlers on what's now Parris Island which he named Charlesfort. He said upon his planned return to Spain, "NO FAIRER OR FITTER PLACE TO BE". This still holds true today!

Please Goggle VRBO, search #1646978, The White Squirrel Lodge (32 miles Southwest of Asheville,N.C.) Also, while we've not had any issues there is a Ring doorbell camera installed to catch porch pirates and a rear security camera in the workshop. These security camera's are not viewed unless there is an issue. This home is dog friendly, please contact owner directly for conditions. There is a non-refundable $100. pet fee.
