Positive: It was nice to have a kitchen and a lounge space.
Negative: Quite a bit could be easily improved. The place is setup as an airbnb with air bnb rules but i didnt book it through air bnb and am not accustomed to air bnb rules. First when i booked it i didn't know there was a deposit required and if it weren't for my french friend, i would not have been able to pay it as i don't have a phone number. That whole thing was difficult and annoying. Because this was booked the day before use i could have lost my entire payment and not been abl to stay in the t at all. The information was not made available in any clear way. The owner should be more familiar with the booking dot com app and see how it looks to the public. Most accoms on booking do not require deposits at all. So this was unusual and unexpected. Second, the checkin and check out times are terrible. 4pm in and 10 am out. Really not good value especially since the final morning we had to clean the house. So we were not able to enjoy our last morning. It was work. 10 am is really unfair. If you don’t want to clean the house you have to pay 130 euro which is a lot and as we were only two people we hardly made any mess anyway. I think the rental should include any amount for cleaning. Luckily we brought our own sheets and towels because the house would charge 20 euro to use a sheet set that would smell badly of detergent . It was only the expectation of this bad smell that i brought my sheets. And even though we did that, i could smell the detergent in the bedrooms. This is caused by low quality laundry detergents used in front loading washing machines which do not rinse properly. The only time i can avoid this horrible smell now is when i stay in a proper hotel who uses professional laundry services. Everyone else on the continent seems to have got used to this awful pollution smell but it keeps me awake.. Finally, it was also stressful trying to open the front door because the written instructions we were sent were not accurate. We had to make several ph
