What We Loved: • Location & Privacy: The secluded setting is perfect for those seeking peace and tranquility. • Breathtaking Ocean Views: The stunning ocean backdrop was a major reason I chose this property. • Spacious Villa & Large Pools: My family enjoyed swimming in the expansive pools while I relaxed with the calming ocean view. • Outstanding Staff & Service: The restaurant staff were excellent, and the reception team was superb—knowledgeable, welcoming, and even remembered my name, making me feel like a VIP.
Negative: Room for Improvement: • Villa Amenities & Furnishings: While spacious, the villa did not meet Western standards considering the price. The kitchen lacked essential amenities like a microwave and clean dishes for leftovers. The furnishings felt cheap, with an old and stained sink, and no soap provided for the kitchen. Cleanliness is not great. • Water Pressure & Plumbing: The water pressure was disappointingly low, and the toilet barely flushed—this needs urgent attention. • Living Room & TV Size: With such a wide living room, I expected a larger TV that complemented the space. Not all rooms had TVs, which they should. • Villa Design & Renovation Needed: The interior felt dull and outdated, far from luxurious. A renovation is necessary, especially in the restrooms, which had ample space but lacked shelving, modern decor, and even simple towel hooks. Adding a washer and dryer would be a great bonus for guests on extended stays. • Main Resort & Villas Need an Upgrade: The overall resort, especially the villas, would greatly benefit from renovations and a fresh coat of paint to enhance its appeal. Poro Point reminds me of Kempinski at the Dead Sea in Jordan, but the difference is in the luxurious style and design. Investing in upgrades would undoubtedly elevate its reputation.
