Enjoy this cute cottage in central Jax - this is a lovely 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom bungalow that is perfect for a shorter or longer term stay with us!
It has an in unit washer dryer which is perfect for guests staying with us for extended periods of time as well as a fenced in backyard which is fantastic for guests with pets!
Also features a driveway which is great for guests with more than 1 car so you don't have to struggle with finding on street parking!
We are on a mission to provide each and every guest with 5-star quality service; as such, we make ourselves available most hours of the day, and 24/7 for emergencies. You can expect self check-in service at the listing with codes forwarded prior to check-in time. If you have any questions, please reach out to us.
Quiet neighborhood close to NAS Jax, downtown attractions, and main highway arteries.
Guest will have access to the entire home and grounds. Access & wifi codes will be forwarded via messaging prior to arrival.
This 2 bed 1 bath house with a separate dining area and fully-fenced back yard in a comfortable contemporary style.
Cars highly recommended for trips around the city; traffic varies greatly.
We are pet friendly and charge $25 per night per pet for short term stays. For longer stays, we charge $150 per week and $300 per month per pet. If you plan to bring a pet when booking with us, please inform us in advance. The fee for pets is non-negotiable for any animal.
There is in unit laundry in the house.
Events/parties are strictly prohibited and will result in a $1,000 fine. A party/event is in effect any time the guest count exceeds either the maximum allowable on the property of the amount of guests booked.
A TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, ESPN+ and an HDTV antenna is available but there is NO CABLE.
The following additional charges apply to late check outs/early arrivals, assuming we can offer this at all (I often can't, so please never assume this will be allowed):
1 hr or less early arrival or late departure: $25
1-2 hr early arrival/late departure: $50
2-3 hr early arrival/late departure: $100 or the cost of an additional night's stay, whichever is more.
These fees are primarily in place to highly discourage late checkouts/early arrivals since this causes our cleaning service undue stress to prep the unit prior to your or the next set of guests' arrival. This also increases the need for them to rush/cut corners, increasing the likelihood of them not cleaning the unit to the high standard which we hold them to.
***Finally, smoking is strictly forbidden anywhere on the property - inside or in the outdoor areas.***
***If we find cigar/cigarette butts of any kind on the property or evidence of smoking (ash on flat surfaces, empty cigarette packs, etc.) we will assess a $250 cleaning fee in addition to the regular cleaning fee.***

Summary: Nice little home in an older neighborhood. The home has been updated, dishes, pans, utensils, clean bedding and towels were provided. The home was clean overall. Check-in was easy as was the check-out process. The property owner communicated clearly about check-in and overall the home was as described. The home does have an older musty smell that is very strong and caused some respiratory issues for me. I wish I had known that ahead of reserving. Pest control arrived around 8am during our stay and we were not aware they were coming. I did not receive any notice from the property owner about pest control and we were expected to be out for at least an hour they were done. A bit awkward for me and the pest control service. The bed is extremely soft for those who prefer a more firm mattress. This is not a fault to the owner, but I wish I had known about the location safety ahead of time. I was not familiar with the area and did feel uncomfortable as the neighbors would let their dogs out and wouldn't come out themselves, but would peek through their windows. I did hear a neighbor threatening her children when outside. The police did frequent the neighborhood often during the stay and was at the next door neighbors for a long time one of the nights. The neighbors dogs barked alot day and night which made it difficult to get a good nights rest and agitated my dog. Being concerned about my dog barking it made for an uneasy and stressful situation.
