Escape to the heart of the karri forest! The cozy Cabin is the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. The cabin has three bedrooms and sleeps up to 5 people, making it perfect for families or groups of friends. Just a two-minute walk away is the stunning karri lake, where you can swim, paddle board, and kayak. We've designed the cabin to be a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life with limited internet & mobile phone coverage it's the perfect place to unplug & relax.
The Woodkeeper's Cabin is on a 2602sqm block filled with marri and karri Tree's, you have complete access to the block. The back of the Cabin backs onto state forest with multiple walking & cycling trails.
The front of the cabin has an open veranda where you can quite literally waste a whole day just watching the birds and Kangaroo's( in the early morning or dusk). There are homes on the blocks on either side. Inside the cabin you will find an open plan living, dinning, Kitchen area with the woodburner and aircon/heater.
There are three bedrooms & one bathroom with a separate toilet. The cabin is not a big place under 100sqm, which makes it super cosy in winter. There is a bbq for all year round cooking and a fire pit for the winter months (please note fire bans are in place from September to April and sometimes longer depending on the conditions) Internet and mobile signal is very limited. We have Starlink for Internet but because of the trees it gets interrupted every 16sec. This means you can receive messages/emails but can’t FaceTime or run games. Netflix does run as it has a buffer system. Mobile signal is available at the front of the cabin but is dependent on the weather.
There are NO shops in Quinninup so make sure you stock up in Manjimup on your way through.
End of February and March is March fly season in the Karri forest, we have a discounted rate because of this.
