A wonderful stay 2 kilometers from the town of Ommen and 1 kilometer from the Ommer forest. In the beautiful nature of Ommen and surroundings you can go hiking and bike rides. For the sports enthusiasts there is the possibility of canoeing, but also a whisper boat rental is possible. There are also two public swimming pools in Ommen. An indoor and outdoor pool. Both only a few kilometers (2 and 4) from your fighting valley house. This cute little house stands on a small and quiet bungalow park; Juníperus. The living room has an open kitchen, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and kettle. There is also a washing machine. The cozy living room has doors that open to the garden with terrace on the south. When weather is nice, you can barbecue outside on the barbecue. You see storks, you can take the lock at Vilsteren, all special cycling trips from your fighting valley cottage. Ommen itself is a friendly town on the Vecht. In the summer there are various activities with the Ommer Bissingh, an event that takes place every year in July and August with (rubbish) markets, fun fair, and all sorts of activities. In 1985 the National Tin Figures Museum was founded in Ommen. After a renovation in 2006, the museum is considered one of the most beautiful tin figure museums in the world. Art and history are united in the museum. Ommen is also located at the Pieterpad. There is a deer park with peacocks, deer and pigeons at the Laer estate. If you have old bread left over, this is a nice destination during a walk through the wooded area there. What is also worthwhile is a visit to the free range of chickens at poultry farm Schuttert. Here you can see 25,000 chickens roaming freely and you can buy o. A. Fighting animals by means of an egg machine! At 500 meters from your stay is World Restaurant de Lindenberg where you can eat well. There are also plenty of attractive eateries in Ommen.
