Positive: We stayed here with 6 adults and 6 kids ages 5-17 and it was absolutely perfect for our large family. The kitchen was very well stocked with access to a BBQ outside, the beds were super comfortable, and each bedroom having its own ensuite was a huge plus. The main floor is spacious with a large living and dining area featuring a super comfy couch, a games room, kitchen, laundry and a lovely screened-in porch area. The games room with a record player was a hit with everyone. We especially enjoyed playing Clue and Candy Land. The whole house is beautifully decorated with high-quality furniture and finishes. The sweeping 360° views of rolling hills and dramatic rock formations are absolutely stunning. You really feel tucked away in a private slice of Trout River, yet you’re only minutes from amazing trails like the Tablelands. We sincerely enjoyed this accommodation and would definitely stay here again.
Negative: It would have been nice to have a few extra chairs in the screened in porch, but this did not deter from our enjoyment of the house.
