Dine on our beautiful covered front porch overlooking the Youghiogheny River. Relax and roast marshmallows over the campfire in the back yard! Need to work? Bring your laptop because the Wi-Fi is great - and you can work on the porch, with the river sparkling 20 feet away.
The Kendall Trail starts right across the river from the Riverside and takes you along the river to the ghost town of Kendall. Enjoy outdoor adventures including kayaking, whitewater rafting, and fishing on the Yough! There are local adventure tour companies in Friendsville who are available to take you on whitewater and other eco tours. We are easy walking distance to the Friendsville Community Park, a large, open greenspace on the Bear Creek with a walking/running trail and fitness equipment for adults.
